![]() It was very clean and appeared well maintained. The main building, the River House has a bathroom and one shower in the women’s locker room. The resort offers bath robes but not towels, so be sure to pack your own towels. We didn’t buy the tin foil dinners, only because we had already prepared all our meals ahead of time but heard other guests say they were delicious. They must be pre-ordered and can be cooked on the community fire or the grill. The resort did offer tin foil dinners available for purchase ($15/each). We brought our little Coleman camp stove and cooked all our meals at the yurt but there is a community patio that has a community campfire and large gas grill available to prepare food on. We especially appreciated the CoVid precautions management enforced with social distancing and cleanliness. The parking is also very close to the yurts, so carrying luggage and cooking equipment was a breeze. The yurt was clean and has plenty of room for 2-3 people. It was super close to the three small hot springs pools and had a wonderful view of the river from the porch. Overnight guests have access to the pools 24/7. There was never more than 6-8 people in each pool at any given time. We felt like we had the resort to ourselves as management does not allow this resort to become overcrowded. We found all that and more with this small, serene camping/glamping resort. We just had a two night stay (-) for a girls weekend getaway and it was heavenly! We were looking for a secluded area to enjoy a soak and unwind while being safe and away from the crowds. This interaction really put a bad taste in my mouth and I’m unsure if I’ll go back. She informed me that only the $12 would have been charged and I told her there was no way of knowing that. I tried to explain that the site said 3x$18 and gave a total price to match it. She charged me $20 per person instead of the $12 although it was a simple misunderstanding. She showed no interest in the fact that we tried to purchase ahead of time and the website was VERY misleading. When I got to Maple Grove, the woman checking us in had an attitude immediately and proceeded to cut me off when I tried to explain why we didn’t purchase tickets in advance. We needed to get on the road and I figured it was an error in the site that could be easily sorted when I arrived. I tried to call but they don’t open until 10 which is when the reservation started (3 hour block) and Logan is about an hour away. The price rang up $18/person when it should be $12 for the Monday special price. On a Monday morning, we were looking to purchase 3 tickets online. The grounds are beautiful and well kept but I was very disappointed in the staff (one woman in particular). However, when I visited most recently with family that were visiting, the experience was starkly different. I have been to Maple Grove three times and have only had good things to say.
