The game is no longer officially available, as PopCap was purchased by Electronic Arts, a competitor to Activision Blizzard, in 2011. Carl Kwoh (associate producer at Popcap Games. Although it's an official game, all of its content is non-canon. There are also two characters to choose from and no further limitations to the gameplay. Peggle: World of Warcraft Edition is a free spin-off puzzle video game developed by PopCap Games and released worldwide July 8, 2009, for PC, as a promotional installment for both the Peggle franchise and the MMORPG World of Warcraft. The game includes an Adventure mode with two stages of five levels each, Quick Play to play any of the unlocked levels, Duel for a two-player mode against a friend or the computer, and ten new tasks in the Challenge mode. Įven though the basic gameplay is completely identical to Peggle Nights, controlling a cannon near the top of the screen to shoot balls in order to hit specific pegs, including the fever mode at the end of the game, the art is specifically themed after the World of Warcraft assets with characters from the game and various references, such as fitting introductions to the different stages. Along with this promotion, two addons for World of Warcraft were released to play Bejeweled and Peggle in-game. It was a promotional game for both the Peggle franchise and the MMORPG World of Warcraft. I don't think there is a way to install those packs without it, sorry.Peggle: World of Warcraft Edition was a free stand-alone version of the game Peggle Nights. You must have Peggle Nights to install those packs. Maybe you should inquire about it (ask them some questions about their game service). I asked them about their service similar to gamepass. Or once I e-mailed Bigfish and they gave me a coupon to get a free game. I cancel from there all the time, but some people have a problem doing that and must call. If you don't cancel it is $9.99 every month, but you can cancel anytime. You get to keep your free game even if you cancel. You can sign up trial at realarcade which is what I have and I like it. If you want to use it and get Peggle Nights for free which is a different game than Peggle Deluxe which is what you will need to install this. What is it is a free game that I think only has 10 levels. I'll write soon (promise) :)Ĭhronopie I once installed Peggle Extreme before I had Peggle Deluxe and Nights. I keep meaning to write, but I tend to fall asleep a lot more since upping my dose of morphine earlier this year. Thanks for the info Nola.Sorry I've been rather lax at Emailing you this year. I'm happy to give the game away to the first taker. (I have most of the expansion packs for the complete version as well. They are basically the same apart from the fact that the golden version has all the expansion packs already installed. :)Īnyone want Hyperballoid The complete version as I don't need it now that i have the Golden version. The golden version had an extra expansion pack that's never been made availble to Hyperballoid Complete, but the free levels for Hyperballoid complete would not install to the golden version, so I just copied the free versions dat files over to the golden version and they were then available in the golden version. I bough both Hyperballoid TRhe Complete edition then Hyperballoid Golden version. Hi Chronopie, you could try installing demos of bothe games see if the free levels install to the demos then extract the dat files. If you like Peggle you'll probably like MoLeCuLoUs, which involves a similar concept of ball bearings dropping through pegs, but it's otherwise totally different, but still a great game. I'd include Peggle in my top 10 favorite arcade games. I wish they would release some for the original Peggle as well. I'm off to pop cap to download these new free levels. Magic Ball 2 became a little boring and I never actualy finished either of the expansion packs I'd stupidly bought. I still love Strike ball 2 though version 3 is better. I ended up buying both games twice ( Magic Ball 2 and Strikeball 2) because i loved the games at the time. They released some commercial expansion packs for both games and they wouldn't work with the Reflexive version. I had the same problem with a couple of games I'd bought from Reflexive that were developed by Alawar. (no promises though) Alternatively, get in touch with pop cap and see if they can resolve it. I'll see if the additional levels are extractable and maybe post them to you via email. Actually sometimes that is the case, but I thought these were okay for any version.
